About Course

The Great Center course explores ancient Confucian teachings such as Illuminating Virtue and Sincere Intention, Cultivation and Heart Goodness. Through analysis of the Great Learning, Da Xue 大學, a Confucian classic explaining the path for self-cultivation and self-betterment, the student will learn the theory behind self-cultivation practices. Dr Yaron Seidman brings a full translation of Great Learning Simple Explanation 大學恆解- a commentary and insight by Liu Yuan to enhance the learning with practical applications.
